Cari Golden is a Los Angeles native and Joniphile since childhood. Classically trained, Golden brings the technical vocal skill required to accomplish the vocal acrobatics of Joni’s music. Golden is a vocal coach, the musical theater music director and private choir coach for La Canada High School, the vocal director and lead vocalist for Jacqueline Foster Entertainment and an accomplished dance music songwriter with over 300 released original pieces. Her music can be heard in film and television, radio and dance floors world wide. Also a trained chef, Golden created the non-profit Lov Kitchen which works in conjunction with other charities to source, make and serve meals to the unhoused and food insecure of skid row in Downtown LA. Cari Golden is realizing a life long dream of fronting a band dedicated solely to the music of Joni Mitchell and is honored to share the stage with such a fine cadre of musicians she also calls friends.

Robert “Fitz” Fitzpatrick is a Canadian born Pianist/Scientist living in Burbank Ca., as well as on the beach in Port Hueneme. When not tinkering in the laboratory  during the day you can find him tickling the ivories around town with the Joni Mitchell tribute band  A case of You. 

Starting in the 80s with guitarist Nick Walusko (Wondermints, Brian Wilson, Beach Boys), he has been in numerous original, Tribute and Classic Rock bands, (playing with the Vinyl Gypsies) and now pianist/keyboardist in the Joni Mitchell tribute band A Case of You with Cari Golden , the best Joni Mitchell tribute singer in America.  Joni’s music  is a challenge for any keyboardist, and a true love and joy to play.

Mike Brightly is a guitarist, composer, and producer with over a decade of experience playing in diverse musical settings. Originally from Connecticut, Mike has played with artists throughout the country in styles ranging from rock to jazz to hip-hop. Whether playing festival stages, recording in legendary studios, or jamming in local dives, Mike brings a unique synthesis of old and new sounds to his multi-faceted guitar playing. 

Like many of us, Mike fell in love with Joni through her classic “Blue” album and from there explored her voluminous catalogue. Blending Joni’s own innovative guitar stylings with those of the illustrious guitar talents that have graced her bands through the years, Mike delivers a faithful interpretation of Joni’s music from her earliest folk material and smooth rock hits to her jazz-inflected later work. In his new home of Los Angeles, Mike is proud to celebrate the music of Joni Mitchell alongside his immensely talented band mates (and dear friends). 

A San Fernando Valley native, Jon Biggs began drumming at age twelve in the jazz, stage and marching bands in school. Since 1991 he’s been paying his dues in various bands and has recorded a few albums as a studio musician. Jon has played with Orgone as well as Sharon Robinson, Leonard Cohen’s co-writer. He is currently playing with legendary 50’s icon Jimmy Angel and the J63 at their decades long residency at the famous Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank.

Roger Brooks lives in Burbank with his wife and two dogs.  He is originally from Santa Fe, NM and he came to southern California to pursue a career at Disneyland. He worked for two years as a stage manager and then did a twenty plus year stint as a musician.  During his tenure at the park he played in pretty much every band including: The Disneyland Band, The Side Street Strutters, The Magic Kingdom Korps, The River Rascals, The Jambalaya Jazz Band and many more.  Since Disneyland occupied weekends, holidays and summers, Roger was able to also pursue a career in education.  He has a BS in Music Education and a Masters in Conducting and he put those to good use as a high school band director for over twenty five years.  He is recently retired and is now occupying his time playing drums and bass in various jazz combos, big bands and “A Case of You”.  This journey into the music of Joni Mitchell is challenging and rewarding… a true labor of love!
